Hanover’s Talent Pool – Free Jumping Competitions of the Hanoverian Jumper Breeding Program

Inari1Hanover’s young show jumping prospects will show up at the Free Jumping Competitions of the Hanoverian Jumper Breeding Program in Verden. The four-year-olds will compete on Wednesday, February 6, the three-year-olds four weeks later, on Wednesday, March 6.

The insurance company VGH Versicherungen has been a reliable partner since the competition was held the first time in 1997. The Hanoverian Jumper Breeding Program was launched exactly 20 years ago. Meanwhile, the Free Jumping Competitions are one of the annual highlights, arousing a great deal of interest everywhere. Many a futurity prospect that competed in Verden started a successful sports career. George by Garant/Don Juan participated at the Olympics last year after he had been placed at the Free Jumping Competition at the age of four. The chestnut was ridden by Jill Henselwood and belonged to the Canadian team in London.

Approx. 60 four- and 100 three-year-olds are expected to participate. They all have one thing in common: They carry best Hanoverian show jumping bloodlines and descend from approved sires and dams that are registered with the Hanoverian Jumper Breeding Program. Both competitions will start at 9.00 am. The judges will award scores for style, potential and overall impression and analyze and comment on the performances. Apart from valuable prizes, the owners of the two best of their age-group will be offered a free breeding to a popular and approved top show jumping sire. All competitors will be published after the close of registration on the website www.hannoveraner.com. Entrance will be free of charge.
