Albert Kley Top Ten Foal Award



We had a very successful inspection tour this year with inspection sites in Prince Edward Island, Quebec, two in Ontario, Manitoba, two in Alberta and two in British Columbia.  We thank Dr. Ludwig Christmann from the Verband for attending at all of these sites.  Also, thanks to our Canadian judges approved by the Verband: Inga Hamilton, Ferdinand Haupt and Ursula Hosking and special thanks to Judy Hedreen and Sandy Hunt from the AHS for participating.  Dr. Christmann will be sending us a report on the tour and it will be sent to our members in a subsequent newsletter.

The Champion dressage foal is Foreign Affairs (For Romance/Don Bosco), breeder, Kathleen Richardson, owner Ryan Pedigo.  The Champion jumping foal is Cordelia NF (Chacoon Blue/Mr. Blue) breeder/owner, Nordic Farms

The winner of the Fritz Floto Award for a dressage bred mare with the top Mare Performance Test score is the four year old LiMei de Lys by Londonderry/Weltmeyer  with an average of 8 for the quality of gaits and an average of 8.5 for rideability, breeder and owner Ferme de Lys, Ulverton, Quebec.  Unfortunately, this year we did not have a jumper bred mare who qualified for this award.
