Six young Hanoverian stallions honoured in Verden It was the first time that six four-year-old stallions of the last testing round were honoured with the Weltmeyer- and Stakkato-Prize in Verden. Start-Finish-Victory for Skylook Good performances at the free jumping competition for four-year-olds. 58 four-year-old horses participated at the Free Jumping Competition of the Hanoverian Jumper Breeding Program in Verden. And the first competitor was already rewarded with the hig-hest scores of the day: The Stolzenberg/Athletico-son Skylook convinced over the fences with his outstanding potential and style. Hanoverian auction year started off well! Customers invested an average of Euro 13,271 in the 92 Hanoverian riding horses put up for the Winter Auction in Verden. Top-priced horse became the four-year-old mare Sunshine for whom her new owners paid Euro 47,000. Horse experts from 17 nations purchased a Hanoverian youngster at the auction, among them many new customers. The Winter Auction of Hanoverian riding horses will be held in Verden on January 20/21, 2012. 99 dressage, show jumping and pleasure horses will be put up for auction. The auction candidates will move into their stalls in the new stables of the Niedersachsenhalle on January 9. Verden. Death has silenced *The Voice of the Equestrian Sport”. Hans-Heinrich Isenbart has passed away on Christmas day in Hamburg at the age of 88. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2012, as of 1.00 pm in the Niedersachsenhalle in Verden. The son of an officer and a merchant’s daughter was born on February 5, 1923 in Vienna. He studied law and completed the exam for riding instructor.
