Graf Top by Graf Grannus/Calypso II is the Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 2011. The Celle state stud stallion was presented on the occasion of the Stallion Licensing in the sold out Niedersachsenhalle. Breeder Alfred Brönnemann, Weferlingsen, was pleased to receive the tradition-rich Wohlklang-sculpture and a remunerative cheque. This prize is annually given by the R+V/Vereinigte Tierversichtung to honour an important Hanoverian stallion. The Canadian Hanoverian Society held mare inspections and foal registrations on August 23, 2011 at Dreamcatcher Meadows near Pemberton, BC, on August 24, 2011 at Parksville, B.C. and on September 17, 2011 at Neepawa, Manitoba. Verden. Bundeschampion – Premium stallion – Top horse of the 125th Hanoverian Elite Auction. These are the first fantastic milestones in the incredible career of the young Londonderry/Weltmeyer-son Lemony’s Nicket. The dark-brown horse, bred by Dietmar Eckardt from Burgwedel, was sold at Euro 900,000, the highest price of the day, and also the highest price ever achieved at a Verden riding horse auction. The best was saved for last! Customers paid Euro 71,000 for the Hanoverian colt Figo V. The Hannoveraner Verband hosted Europe’s biggest foal auction: 291 foals were offered for sale and sold at an average auction sales price of approx. Euro 6,900. Figo V was the most expensive foal and sold at Euro 71,000. Relaxed, impressive and satisfied – this is how the 66 three-year-old mares showed up at the Herwart von der Decken-Show. The typey Desperados-daughter Delany became Champion dressage mare. The 2011 Crop of Hanoverian Foals 37th Elite Foal and Broodmare Auction from August 19 – 21 Verden. The 37th Elite Foal and Broodmare Auction will be held in Verden from August 19 to 21, 2011. 312 Hanoverian foals and 19 broodmares will be put up for auction from Friday to Sunday on the premises of the Riding and Driving School in Verden.
