Breeding Your Mare:
To breed registered Hanoverian horses both the mare and stallion need to be registered and approved by the Hanoverian Verband. Any questions regarding the stallion status should be directed to Albert Kley (403)931-4886.
 
Insemination Certificate

All mares bred by fresh, frozen or natural from approved stallions must have an insemination certificate completed in the year of breeding.

Certificate Completion:

  • for natural and fresh semen it must be completed by thestallion owner
  • for transported semen (cooled or frozen) it must be completed by the mare owner and attending veterinarian.

Keep the last copy and send the top two copies to:

All Certificates must be received by August 31 of the current year.
